Powder coating medium-density fiberboard: A new approach to success
Powder Coatings Magazine
This article presents a new approach on how to powder coat medium-density fiberboard [MDF] successfully. Most important is the right combination of powder, MDF, coating line, and product specifications. The article discusses each of these four factors in detail and how they influence each other. Silver Bullet
Matthew Little, Products Finishing magazine

At first thought, the notion of using silver to fend-off bacteria seems as alien a concept as bringing back the dinosaurs, traveling through time or
Applications of Vacuum Coating
Donald M. Mattox
Vacuum is an environment where the gas pressure is less than the ambient. A plasma is a gaseous environment in which there are enough ions and electrons for there to be appreciable electrical conductivity. Vacuum coating is the deposition of a film or a coating in a vacuum (or low-pressure plasma) environment. Generally the term is applied to processes that deposit atoms (or molecules) one at a time such as physical vapor deposition (PVD) or low-pressure chemical vapor deposition (LP-CVD) processes or plasma-enhanced CVD (PECVD). In PVD processes, the material being deposited comes from the vaporization of a solid or liquid surface How and Why To Epoxy Paint Your Concrete Slab
Paul Oman
Concrete slab floors are found in nearly all industrial and commercial sites. Should you paint or coat them, or leave them alone? Concrete floors are coated for several reasons. These include: 1) to improve chemical resistance, 2) to prevent the concrete from sweating (epoxies are used for this application, 3) to impart a non-skid surface, 4) to seal the surface from moisture and/or reduce dust, and 5) for appearance sake.In some cases getting a suitable, long term bond between the concrete and the coating can become career or profit destroying task
